GOD WILL REMEMBER YOU
Scripture Reading: Genesis 8:1-22
When God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals in
south him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the water subsided, - Genesis 8:1
Does God forget? Of course not! He is all-knowing. But He does remember, Isn't that interesting? The Bible explains what really happens in Isaiah 54:7-8, "'For a mere moment I have forsaken you, But with great mercies I will gather you. With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,' says the LORD, your Redeemer." God may, in some moments of our lives, keep silent because He is working out a certain purpose that is not yet perfected. He may sometimes “turn his face away" for a moment because of our disobedience or disorder but His mercy always prevails and He remembers us.
God remembered Abraham and gave him a son. God remembered Joseph and brought him out of prison. God remembered Hannah and gave her Samuel. God remembered Israel and brought them out of captivity. In the case of Noah, he had been “immobilized” for months by the flood waters of God's judgment on the earth. However, when God remembered Noah, He caused a wind to blow away the flood waters. May the wind of God blow away every flood that has held you captive and cause it to subside.
Do you sometimes feel forgotten or abandoned? Today, you may seem to be "relegated" in your career, finances, health, relationship or ministry but declare that GOD WILL REMEMBER ME! In Jesus' name. Amen!
Prayer: Lord, I thank you that your eyes are upon me. I thank you that you will remember me and show me your mercy
