MARRIAGE
Personal – 5am to 8am
1. Thank God for the blessing of marriage and for the opportunity to fulfil His
dominion mandate for humanity.
2. Ask the Lord to bless your marriage with love, peace and fruitfulness.
3. Thank the Lord for your partner and declare that your marriage will be blessed
with godly children.
Family and Church – 8am to 11am
4. Pray for every family going through the pain of divorce and separation and ask
the Lord to heal couples of hurts and restore marriages in Jesus' name.
5. Pray that families will be filled with grace to walk in faithfulness, commitment
and reverence for their marriage covenant.
6. Ask God to make Christian marriages examples to the world; pray that marriages
in the church will flourish and bring glory to God.
Productivity, Career and Business – 11am to 2pm
7. Ask the Lord to deliver families from the pain of past marital experiences that
inhibit their productivity at their workplaces.
8. Pray for God's grace to make you a responsible spouse; ask God to help you
remain a faithful spouse to your partner.
9. Intercede on behalf of every marriage going through the cycles of lack and
poverty; ask God to supply their needs and send them help in Jesus' name.
Nation, Continent and Global – 2pm to 5pm
10. Pray for the spirit of love and respect to pervade every marriage in the country;
ask God to preserve young marriages against the influx of negative ideologies
that corrupt the institution of marriage.
11. Bind and cast out the spirit of infidelity that destroys the marriage covenant;
pray that marriages going through the pain of infidelity will be healed and
restored in Jesus' name.
12. Come against every agenda-driven and worldly system that fights the institution
of marriage; declare that God will be glorified in every marriage in Jesus' name.
Declaration – 8pm
In the name of Jesus, I boldly declare the favour of God upon every marriage in
the church. I decree that marriages will be blessed with love, joy, peace,
understanding and above all fruitfulness. No plan fashioned against marriages
will prosper; and every evil agenda spoken concerning marriages is condemned
in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!
