THE POWER OF LOVE
Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:8
You are born of love because you are born of God. The love of God I has been shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit. God is love. The very essence of God Himself has been poured into you. You cannot do anything in yourself to receive His love, for it is a gift that you receive.
God's love in you makes you victorious over hatred. When you harbour hate in your heart, it acts as a cancer. However, when the love of God is in your heart, you are immunised from the multiple diseases related to hate. Jealousy cannot grow when it comes in contact with the love of God. God's power is wrapped up in His love. Love, therefore, becomes a limitless power source when you walk in it.
When God's love is perfected in you, it casts out all fear. It protects you at all times. It is ever on the alert. You need not be concerned that someone will offend you, because forgiveness is natural to you.
There is no fear in your life since nothing can separate you from the love of God. God's love keeps on operating regardless of circumstances. Unlike city lighting systems, it cannot be knocked out by a bad storm. God's love prevails in adversity.
You have the capacity to love in all situations because God has put is love inside you. By confessing that you are a loved person, you will strengthen the power of God's love in you.
Prayer: Lord, stir up the love of God in my heart, and help me live a life of love.
