BE OPEN BEFORE GOD
DAY 1 - JUNE 20
Personal – 5am to 8am
1. Thank God for the opportunity to come before Him just as you are; bless His
name for counting you worthy to experience His grace and mercy today.
2. Commit yourself to God and ask Him to search you completely; pray that the
Lord will reveal all your anxieties and weaknesses in your heart to you today.
3. Confess your sins, worries, doubts and fears to God and ask Him to help you
trust in Him; ask for help to draw closer to Him in humility, honesty and
openness.
Family and Church – 8am to 11am
4. Present your entire family to God and ask Him to draw them close to Himself;
pray that your family will be willing to enjoy fellowship with Him this season.
5. Pray that your family will seek the Lord honestly as you intercede for them
during the 40 days of fasting and prayer; declare that they will seek Him
diligently and find Him in this season.
6. Thank God for His presence and power at work in the church; pray for divine
encounters in the church during this year’s 40 Days of Power.
Productivity, Career and Business – 11am to 2pm
7. Present all your anxieties concerning your academics and work to God; ask Him
to deliver you from them and give you clarity of thought to pursue your dreams.
8. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you completely today; ask for God’s grace to help you
go about your business in honesty and transparency.
9. Bind and cast out every cycle of delay, defeat and disappointment from your life;
declare that this year, you will see a turnaround in all your endeavours in Jesus’
name.
Nation, Continent and Global – 2pm to 5pm
10. Thank the Lord for His manifest glory over the body of Christ in Ghana; pray that
we will be sensitive to His leading and follow His precepts in all we do.
11. Commit our leaders to the Lord and ask Him to mould theirs heart and make it
subject to His will; pray that they will walk in His precepts and abide by His
principles.
12. Thank God for His grace available to you as we commence this year’s 40 Days of
Power; declare that every blessing tied to this year’s fasting and prayers will
accrue to you in Jesus’ name.
Declaration – 8pm
Oh Lord my God, how excellent is your name in all the earth. Lord, You have
searched my heart and known my thoughts and ways. You have tried me and
known my weaknesses. Reveal Yourself to me in this season as I wait on You,
show me Your ways that I may walk with You all the days of my life. I declare
that my mind is set on You from today in Jesus’ name, Amen!
