Ezekiel 37:1–14
‘Can these bones live?’
- Can a hopeless condition be repaired?
- Can a scattered situation be regathered?
‘O Lord, you know’
- It is beyond my power
- It is within God’s power
God’s answer: Prophesy
- Speak in the strength of the Spirit
- Say the same thing God says
- Speak directly to the situation
- Speak what has to be and not what is
- We prophesy in parts, phases and levels
- What we declare by faith, triggers divine processes and actions
Prophesy to the dry bones
- The shaking: God stirs things up
- The gathering: God brings the pieces together
- The covering: God gives structure and form
Prophesy to the breath
- The awakening: God inspires and gives new life
- The rising: God causes you to stand up
- The army: God makes you mighty and formidable
