What does the gospel do?
It provides salvation- It saves the sinner from sin
- It secures those who are saved in Christ
- It settles the destiny of the saved
Who is the gospel for?
It is for everyone- Those who seem religious (Jews)
- Those who do not seem religious (Gentiles).
How do we receive the gospel?
We must Believe it- Believe in the finished work of Christ
- Receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour
How should we treat the gospel?
Don’t be ashamed of it- Fully embrace it
- Faithfully live it
- Freely declare it
- Firmly defend it
