BE A GIVER
He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed. Psalm 37:26
God is, has
always been, and will always be the best financier. He wants us and our children to be secure in Him so
that He can make our finances secure. Matthew 6:33
KJV says, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be
added unto you." When His kingdom is our focus, He provides everything we
need on earth.
The primary
financial principle we learn from God's Word is that we will reap what we sow. In other words, when we give of our substance (a seed), we receive multiplied times
what we have sown (a harvest). God's
purpose is that you will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion.
God wants to give
us everything we need and more so that we can give to those around us in need.
But we must first give before we receive.
We must be willing to part with the seed that is in our hands. It may not look like much, but in God's
economy that little seed can multiply
and become more than enough to provide for our families and bless the
people around us.
God has given us and our families the key to unlock His storehouse of provision.
It is His Word. When we read it, believe it, speak it, and live it, we will see His
blessings poured out on our families. We will see that God is everything
He promised He would be—when we take Him at His Word.
Prayer: Command every seed of financial giving you have made to yield a harvest
of financial prosperity and abundance.
