GOD KNOWS
Behold, You desire
truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom. Psalm 51:6
It is estimated that in a lifetime, the human
brain can store one 1 million
billion bits of information. Literally, everything you've seen, heard, smelt,
tasted and felt is still stored in your brain. That is a lot of information in our heads. Yet,
with all that capacity, we still forget a
lot of things. Many times we are unable to recall a name ten seconds after hearing it. We forget people we
just met. That is a human limitation.
Thankfully, we have a God who remembers.
God remembers everything—at all
times. There is never a lapse in His
memory. He never forgets a person or a name. God is omniscient, which means He knows everything. God's knowledge
is as eternal as He is. What God knows
now, He has always known and always will
know. God doesn't learn new things; He knows them from the beginning. And He
doesn't forget what He has learnt like we do. We learn new things, but God never does.
The great news is that this
awesome God is our Father. He knows everything that happens in His creation. He
knows the things that stress you out. He knows your fears. He knows
your anxieties about life. He knows your secret sins. He knows your hypocrisy. He knows
your insecurities. There is nothing to hide
from Him.
God wants you to talk to Him
honestly. He wants sincere prayer from His children. Don't pray with pretension. Today, you can come
before Him just as you are and ask Him to
help you live the life that
He wants you to live.
Prayer: Ask the Lord to anoint you with
His Spirit to live a victorious life this year.
