ACCORDING TO HIS WILL
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 John 5:4
Knowing God's will does not always mean that things will fall into place without any effort. In addition to knowing God's will, you must know how to pray the Divine will into reality. Our Lord Jesus taught us to pray in the Lord's Prayer for God's will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven. The Holy Spirit reveals God's Heavenly will to us: prayer brings that will to us on earth.
Knowing the will of God helps us pray with precision. It does not detract from the power of prayer. Rather, it focuses our prayer. Remember that God delights in answering the prayer that is according to His will. God does not answer our prayers because of our need; He does it because of His will. He does not answer our prayers because of our faith; He does it because of His will. So it is possible to pray to God about your dire needs and not have your prayers answered. It is possible to pray with a lot of intensity and faith and not have your prayers answered. God answers prayers that fit into His will and purposes. That is why knowing His will is so important.
When God makes His will known to you, it is an indication that He intends to do something about what He has revealed. He does not reveals just to give us information or satisfy our curiosity; He reveals to redeem. He reveals so that He can step into our lives and cause a turnaround or bring into being things that are considered impossible.
Don't sit on the revelation. Pray about it.

Prayer: Lord, I ask that You fulfil Your perfect will in my life.
Scriptural Reading: 1 John 5:14-17, 21
