Elijah's Actions
- He discovered Elisha (the mentor discovers the mentee)
- He threw his mantle on Elijah
- He allowed Elisha to decide the way for himself
Elisha's Actions
- He was resourceful: plowed with 12 oxen
- He was receptive: left his oxen and run after Elijah
- He was responsible: sought permission to separate from his parents
- He was resolute: killed his oxen
- He readjusted his focus: fed people with the meat of his oxygen.
- He was respectful: followed Elijah and become his servant
